To Date, The Heideman Group has Paid the Above Amount on Behalf of Our Heroes!

History

Upon learning that nearly 50,000 veterans were homeless at the time, the founder of the team, Robert Heideman, was deeply disturbed. As a result, in 2015, he initiated the Heroes Program to make homeownership more accessible to veterans. When asked about the reason behind launching the Heroes Program, Robert stated, “I just wanted to do something, you know? It didn’t make sense to me that these citizens, who fought so hard to protect our country, were living on the streets or paying exorbitant rents due to their lack of resources to buy a home. Although I am only one person, I believe that, by working together, we can tackle any societal problem.”

Robert did not stop there. In 2016, he recognized that first responders often faced difficulties finding affordable housing in the communities they served and included them as a qualifying category for the Heroes Program. In 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the rapid adjustments that the healthcare industry had to make, Robert decided to expand the Heroes Program benefits to include frontline healthcare workers.

Lunch and Learns

Although we may not always recognize it, financial concerns can result in significant stress, which can have adverse effects on our physical and emotional well-being. Conversely, studies have indicated that reducing debt can alleviate stress, leading to improved staff retention, productivity, and social interactions.

Our lunch and learns are intended to deliver valuable insights that can help alleviate financial stress. Our team will visit your facility, provide lunch, and facilitate discussions on various mortgage and financial topics. Our goal is to equip your staff with the tools and knowledge needed to reduce financial stress and promote a healthier workplace environment.

Community Partnerships

Apart from reducing the expenses associated with buying a home, the Heroes Program also collaborates with multiple departments and organizations across the nation to offer essential equipment and supplies. This involves partnering with veteran non-profit entities, various police and fire departments, and working alongside healthcare facilities to address their specific requirements.

Through these partnerships, the Heroes Program aims to encourage the development of more meaningful community collaborations among local businesses, outreach organizations, and departments that contribute to the smooth functioning of our society.

Support

Let’s be honest – being a Hero is a challenging and demanding responsibility. It requires determination, commitment, and significant sacrifices to fulfill the duties that only Heroes can undertake.

Through the Heroes Program, the Heideman Group strives to demonstrate our utmost appreciation for our Heroes. This can take the form of providing a basket of snacks or delivering lunch/dinner to those on duty. We want our Heroes to know that they are valued, and their contributions are vital to society.

Connecting

One of the most pleasant and unforeseen outcomes of our Program has been the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from various organizations and the resources they offer to assist our Heroes.

By leveraging this knowledge, we have been able to connect clients, departments, and organizations with one another, thereby facilitating joint efforts to support the Heroes who serve our communities. Through collaboration, we can make a more significant impact on those who require assistance. As Aristotle once said, “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”
